I love when theatre is used in art. This fascinating woman influenced a lot of my art last year. In response, I tried playing around with Von Freytag inspired dress-ups, combining my fascination with animal materials (feathers) with my love for cutting out, and ended up with these little pop-ups of myself.
*The feather pieces were built by a friend 2 years ago. I wish I could claim them as my own works of art, but sadly I cannot. She kindly lent them to me for the purpose of this shoot, as well as played photographer.
